Displaying mandatory safeguarding-related links for junior and youth clubs

We all have a part to play in ensuring we keep young people safe online.

Are you a club with junior and/or youth teams? If so, ensure you follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to your admin panel.
  2. Head to Appearance, then select Template Configuration.
  3. Click on the Site Identity tab.
  4. Near the top, find a checkbox labelled, “Are you a youth/junior club” – be sure to tick this.
  5. Tap Save & Publish.

On your site’s homepage, there should now be a few useful links related to safe browsing as well as emergency contacts; these are all added automatically by our system. If you have previously selected your affiliated County FA, the contact details of your County FA’s Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) should also display. There is also space to display the contact details of your club’s DSO.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact our support team.
