In order to ensure the sustainability and continued early success of the Free club website platform, the co-founders would like to update you about the placement of adverts across their Free websites.
Since the introduction of our Free plan, we have been really impressed by the positive feedback received. It is without a doubt that our users and member clubs have been instrumental to this early success, constantly feeding back with new feature ideas.
We would like to take this opportunity to personally thank everyone for the support of what is a fairly new and growing platform. Whilst the company doesn’t wish to limit clubs on usage and feature availability – offering a valuable service to those clubs with a dwindling budget – such a Free service has to be viable and sustainable moving forward.
After discussing the placement of the adverts, we have concluded that the position and size of the adverts on the page should not sacrifice the overall user’s experience of browsing the club website.
Unlike some of our competitors, we have decided to freeze the cost of our fixed-price website packages for the 2018-19 season.
While it remains our intention and goal to help support clubs at grassroots level, we continue to explore many options, including trying to establish further partnerships and agreements with Leagues, County FA’s and sports services, retailers and manufacturers.
