Excellence is getting an upgrade! Here’s your chance to test it…

With the new season just around the corner, and the reboot of our club website template, ‘Excellence’, we are giving clubs the chance to give feedback and become a member of our beta testing focus group.

Relaunching early this week, Excellence version 2.0 has now entered its beta testing stage. We want to hear from grassroots football clubs on essential and ideal features and feedback on the refreshed design. We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from our focus group testers. Club officials and managers have praised the new professional design, complemented by a full-screen draggable slider, showcasing the club’s latest news, and once again fully integrated with the different social media channels.

With the option to display your latest three YouTube videos, Facebook and Twitter feeds, and a host of other settings for you to sink your teeth into, Excellence really excels expectations and is set to revolutionise grassroots football. Simply enter your club’s Twitter handle and Facebook page URL and our system takes care of the rest, pulling and displaying the relevant feeds in a prominent position on your website’s homepage.

A timeline of upcoming club events also displays prominently on your website’s homepage, meaning players and other club members can keep up-to-date and note down any dates for their diaries. Club webmasters have the final say over the contents of their website’s header navigation menu, with the option to have as many submenus as they wish.

Through our partnership with Somerset FA – announced earlier this year – we implemented a requested Safeguarding feature, specifically for young users accessing their club’s website. Clearly communicating the contact details of the club and County FA’s safeguarding officers, accompanying related reporting and emergency links act with a combined informative and educational purpose.
