Coming Soon: ‘Excellence’ In The Making

After weeks of planning, designing and building a new website template for our clubs, we are nearing the stage of collating some final feedback. Thereafter, we intend on completing a soft launch to a select group of clubs to allow further testing and final tweaks before an expected full launch later this month.

Quite fittingly named, “Excellence”, the new template offers clubs a content-rich, highly responsive, and clean look and feel, which perfectly incorporates the club’s identity through numerous customisation options.

From the addition of an optional upcoming Club Events timeline found towards the top of the homepage to a consistent font inline with our branding to the choice of three header design styles, the new template is set to give webmasters a choice of 5 templates. The latter feature has received some excellent feedback – we believe this particular option in giving the choice of header style to our webmasters again sets ourselves apart from our competitors. Choose a clean white identity section and a navigation bar adopting the site’s primary colour, grey navigation with a light-dark split which also utilises the club’s chosen colour scheme, or even pick simplicity over identity.

The “welcome” text section has now been moved and is centre of attention to enable you to provide some backstory surrounding your club; this section now contains a responsive and professional slider containing the latest news and match reports.

The floating social sharing bar and links in the header to your club’s social media pages remain unchanged. This, in particular, is proving crucial in improving communication for clubs and teams at grassroots level, particularly in this digital era.

A brand new Login page – looking smart and fresh with its latest design upgrade – also follows with the forthcoming template release.

Be sure to follow our Twitter page, @myteamwebsite, and also our Facebook page, for the latest developments and screenshots previewing the new template over the coming days.

We have been working hard in trying to put things in place to bring you more content on our ‘Grassroots Football‘ blog. In the near future we hope to bring you a few guest post contributions, but until nearer the time, we’ll be keeping details of such under wraps.
